CHALLENGE

NINE ONE is a contemporary streetwear label blending modern minimalism with bold, urban influences. As a new entrant to the market, the brand needed a strong, cohesive visual identity for its launch, one that would resonate with style-conscious, digitally native consumers while standing out in a competitive fashion landscape. The challenge was to develop an impactful launch campaign, a social media rollout that built brand intrigue, and an e-commerce experience that reflected the brand’s premium yet accessible positioning.

SOLUTION

To establish NINE ONE as a distinctive, aspirational streetwear brand, I collaborated closely with the founder to lead the creative direction for the launch, including:

  • Creative Direction: Guided the concept and execution of the launch campaign imagery, ensuring it captured the brand’s edgy yet refined aesthetic.
  • Art Direction for Social Rollout: Developed a content plan for Instagram and other channels to build pre-launch anticipation and post-launch momentum.
  • E-commerce Design: Designed and customised the Shopify storefront for a seamless, on-brand shopping experience, ensuring the UI reflected the brand’s clean, modern visual language.
  • Consistency Across Touchpoints: Ensured all brand expressions—campaign imagery, social content, and web experience—were aligned in tone, colour, and mood.

RESULTS

NINE ONE launched with a visually striking campaign that defined its aesthetic from day one. The cohesive social media rollout built early brand awareness and engagement, while the Shopify site provided a smooth, premium shopping experience. The creative foundation positioned NINE ONE to compete confidently in the streetwear space, attracting a growing base of fashion-forward customers and setting the stage for future collection drops and collaborations.
